Aim of the TWG

To elaborate the conception for informing the local communities about the ways of the house holding on the reservation territories through the open discussions in working groups, on the conference and publication of the results.

 

Target groups

Environmental NGOs community, local communities of the region

 

Planned activities:

  1. Organising of the four meetings on discussing existing problem.
  2. Collecting information as to formation of the environmental network and public participation in the process.
  3.  Publication of the booklet with information about the public participation.
  4. Presentation of the results during the 4th Green Platform Meeting.

 

Main questions which will be discussed by WG:

  1. National environmental network in the frame of sustainable development.
  2. Role of the public sector in developing of the network and its implementation.
  3. Conception of the NGOs activities to increase the public participation in the formation of the environmental network.

 

Realised activities:

  1. Organised three meetings of the TWG in: Lviv, Yaremcha (Ivano-Frankivs region), Verhnya Yablunka (Lviv region).
  2. Discussed during the meetings European and Ukrainian legislation as a bases for establishing the environmental networks, role of the eco-NGOs and local communities in developing of the regions and reservations.
  3.  Developed the draft of the Conception.
  4. Results of the meetings discussing in the mailing list and will be presented on the 4th Green Platform Meeting.
  5. 5.     Currently in TWG are active about 10 members.
