Aim of the TWG

Activating of the NGO participation in solving ethical problems inside the NGO community; solving actual legal and ethical problems by NGOs.

Target groups

Environmental NGOs community

Planned activities:

1. Starting up of the development process of the ethical norms of eco-NGOs activities and creation of the WG (increasing of the WG) – before 15^th of December, lately – regularly.
2. Organising of the 2 meetings of WG members for coordination of the work – January – April 2005.
3. Dissemination of the information about WG activities in environmental NGO community – December 2004 – May 2005.
4. Placing of the information and documents to the web-sites of EcoPravo-Kharkiv (www.ecopravo.kharkov.ua) and GreenKit (www.greenkit.net) – December 2004 – May 2005.
5.  Developing and opening for discussions among NGOs the draft document – December 2004 – May 2005.
6.  Popularisation of the idea of ethics norm consolidation among ecoNGOs – December 2004 – May 2005.
7. Providing legal support – December 2004 – May 2005.
8.  Providing information for wide public about activities with using ICT – December 2004 – May 2005.
9. Providing information about new environmental legislation – December 2004 – May 2005.
10. Presentation of the results and opening of the document for sign on the 4^th Green Platform Meeting – May – June 2005.
11. Creation of the NGO list who approve document – May – June 2005.

Realised activities:

1. Organised 2 meetings of WG members.
2.  Discussed history of the development of the ethical documents in the communities of different countries.
3.  Prepared draft of the Ethics Code.
4. Opened a Forum for discussions on the IATP web-site http://forum.iatp.org.ua/forum.
5. Information was disseminated through mailing lists and web-sites.
6. Currently there are about 15 active members of the TWG.
